$35 billion boost for GCC maritime sector

Kingdom Hotel Investments sells stake in Four Seasons Cairo
Kingdom Hotel Investments, a subsidiary of Saudi Arabian conglomerate Kingdom Holding Company, said Wednesday it has sold its 43.7 per cent stake in the Four Seasons Hotel in Cairo to Arab Company for Hotel and Tourism Investments for $145 million (Dh532 million).
MMC aborts Jazan construction harbour tender
MMC Corp Bhd has aborted the construction harbour tender at Jazan Economic City on the request of joint venture partner Saudi Aramco. The company said in an announcement to Bursa Malaysia Wednesday that the tender was aborted in view of the impending change to the Jazan Oil Refinery’s location.
Jazan Economic City port tender cancelled
The tender process for the construction of the harbour in Jazan Economic City in Saudi Arabia has been terminated on the back of a change in plans for the Jazan oil refinery, it has been announced. Two-thirds of the project will be devoted to heavy-industry projects and secondary processing industries.
